Hi, I’m Jimmy Copell. I started InvestorsGrow.com and the Learn to Invest – Investors Grow YouTube channel to make investing research easier to follow. My goal is simple: take the headlines, earnings reports, financial statements, and valuation debates that move stocks, and break them down in a way long-term investors can actually use.
Background
I didn’t come to investing from theory alone. I earned a bachelor’s degree from Boston University and a master’s degree in Security Analysis from Creighton University, then began my career on Wall Street as an equity research analyst.
That work meant digging into public companies, financial statements, valuation models, industry trends, and the risks that can get missed when a stock story sounds too clean. Later, I founded JWC Research, an independent investment research company, before shifting more of my time toward investor education, market commentary, and building InvestorsGrow.

Investment Approach
I try to start with the business first, then the numbers, then the risk. That means looking at earnings power, cash flow, balance sheet strength, competitive position, valuation, and the assumptions investors are making — especially when a story is popular.
